Volunteer Aeromodelers is an AMA chartered club. All club members and guests MUST be a member of the AMA.
Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Registration
Effective December 21, 2015, anyone who owns a small unmanned aircraft with a weight of more than 0.55 lbs.(250g) and less than 55 lbs.(25kg). must register with the Federal Aviation Administration’s Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) registry before they fly outdoors.
